Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path
and leave a trail.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

You make a living by what you get, you make a life by what you give.

Besides the noble art of getting things done, there is the noble art of leaving things undone. The wisdom of life consists in knowing the difference.

Lin Yutang

Never be ashamed to admit you are in the wrong, it’s just another way to say you are wiser today than yesterday.

Jonathan Swift

The greatest work that kindness does to others, is that it makes them kind to themselves.

Amelia Earhart

There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged, to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.

Project Gallery

Heartwood Construction takes pride in our projects. Most of all, we value time and each one of the projects you see in the gallery was completed, from ground up, in four months or less.

We work on Time and Materials projects rather than on Single Bid projects. To learn more about Time and Materials vs. Single Bid projects, visit this post. The reason for this is two-fold:

  1. The industry standard is a 40% increase in cost from the original Single Bid. This causes extreme hardship between the contractor and the customer.
  2. The customer saves money because, as a contractor, we get discounts that we forward to our clients. The customer pays exactly what we pay for the cost of materials.

Because we use the Time and Materials format for quoting jobs, the client is more comfortable understanding the true and total cost upfront.
